Rite Angler Disc Sinkers
A Lead Disc Sinker is a flat, coin-shaped “no roll” sinker. They lie completely flat like a pancake on the bottom and resist tumbling in the current. They'll glide easily over the floor of the river, lake, or ocean. River and tidewater anglers frequently use these for stationary fishing. Reduce the tangles and twists in your line with a disc sinker. It's easy to retrieve.
There are a variety of fishing sinker styles to choose from as well as numerous ways for them to be rigged. Choosing the right type and size weight can bring instant angling success. Stronger currents or deeper waters require heavier weights. Terminal tackle takes longer to reach the bottom in a strong current and deviates from where it was intended to drop. A lead disc sinker works well for holding your baits on sandy and muddy bottoms.
Never use more weight than is absolutely necessary to get your bait to the bottom. Our Rite Angler Lead Disc Sinkers are available in 1oz., 2oz., 3oz., 4oz. sizes.
Lead fishing weights are an essential piece of terminal tackle. It's always good to keep a few different sinkers in your tackle box.
