The Rite Angler Deep Drop Grouper Rig features 2X heavy-duty, 14/0 inline circle hooks with a duratin finish. Each hook has a luminous crimp protector that will attract fish to the light. The sail snap and 3-way swivels that attach to your lead are corrosion-resistant with a black nickel finish.
Grouper are commonly found at the bottom in any sort of structure. They inhabit all of the tropical coral reefs of Southern Florida. In North Florida, find them in wrecks, around artificial reefs, and bottom ledges.
SALTWATER GRADE MATERIALS: Superior quality 400lb 3′ fluorocarbon leader. Saltwater grade, corrosion-resistant black nickel finish 3-way swivels and sail snaps. Heavy-duty duratin finish inline circle hooks.
HOOKS: 2X heavy-duty 16/0 inline circle hooks with a duratin finish.

Rite Angler deep drop rigs are great when going for grouper, yellow eye snapper, snowy grouper, or tilefish that swim 400 ft. to 2000 ft. down in the deepest parts of the ocean. Attach a deep drop light and baited hook to attract fish to your rig. Find a good spot to set your line down and put your rod in the holder. Reel it up a little so it doesn't catch the bottom. Wait until the rod is heavily bouncing and hit the switch on your reel.
